With over 25 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry as a Union Ironworker, Jason Shea brings a deep-rooted knowledge of structural integrity, jobsite safety, and large-scale project execution to his role as President of Brick Tones. His impressive resume includes the construction of bridges, commercial buildings, and critical infrastructure throughout New York City.
 

Jason holds multiple safety certifications including OSHA, Scaffolding, and MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)—making safety a top priority on every Brick Tones jobsite. His extensive background in both structural steel and electrical systems gives him a unique edge when coordinating complex commercial projects. His transition into brick staining began on the residential side, working alongside his wife Crystal Shea—founder of Faux Brick Chick Inc.—for the past five years.

 

Through that experience, Jason identified a major gap in the commercial market and launched Brick Tones, a division proudly owned by Faux Brick Chick. Under his leadership, Brick Tones delivers custom, mineral-based staining solutions for office buildings, schools, retail centers, and more—combining long-lasting color with construction-grade reliability.
